A variety of projects for diverse communities
Dance-Based Projects
Primary Project
We plan to create at least three different groups across North and South-East Cornwall. Each group will get 12 weeks of sessions for free in aims to help reduce social isolation and alleviate symptoms of mental health challenges. Participants need no experience of dance or movement to get involved, in fact, we strongly encourage new movers to sign up!
We will equip our participants with the fundamental knowledge and skills needed to keep them safe while moving, playing, and creating. Dance, games, yoga and physical theatre will come together in these playful, inclusive, and easy-to-follow sessions to improve participant’s communication skills, increase confidence, encourage authentic self-expression, and cultivate a well connected community support network.
Should participants wish to continue using dance as a tool for their development after the course, they will be well prepared to explore the world of dance further through links to local classes and guidance around personal practice in the form of an at-home movement activity guide. Participants will also be invited to join us in our optional performance project (see below).
Performance Project
Our performance project is an opportunity for those who participated in the primary project to explore dance as a performance art. This project will also be opened up to new applicants.
For this, the groups from across North & South East Cornwall will collaborate as one with their creative practitioner to devise a group piece, telling a story of their collective choice.
Bringing communities together, boosting confidence, self-esteem, inspiring creativity, and increasing access to and appreciation for the arts!

Creative Multi-Games
Team games with a twist
We are currently setting plans to facilitate regular multi-games sessions for adults. Inspired by traditional British PE games like Bulldog, Dodgeball and Capture The Flag, but with a fun and creative twist. These playful sessions will be free/low-cost and help to connect and uplift the community. Our pilot projects will be taking place in 2026 in Wadebridge, Redruth and Penzance, to get involved please complete the form below.
Non-Aerial Circus Arts
Uniquely Playful
We plan to establish small group sessions for adults to learn and explore non-aerial circus arts like plate spinning, juggling, diablo, poi, flower sticks, and clowning. These unique sessions will be low-cost or free of charge and help to build confidence, and self-worth, while improving dexterity, coordination and creative thinking skills. This is planned to launch in late 2026.
